"I grew up in the St Kilda area and spent a lot of time at Acland Street cake shops and on Fitzroy Street getting ice-cream at Leo’s. I also spent many weekends at St Kilda beach and Luna Park as a kid with my family.

A fond band memory I have is supporting Killing Heidi at their Reflector album launch to a full house at The Prince of Wales Hotel when they were number one in Australia. We also supported Magic Dirt at The Prince many times in the early 2000s."

"I remember KTV played The Greyhound a lot when we started out in 1998-1999. There was a new band night there mid-week that Neil Wedd ran and he gave us a great review of our show. After that, we played the Greyhound a lot and had the launch of our EP Channel Surfing there. I loved playing there and adored the bandroom backstage with the lights around the mirror. Later, I remember going to Drag shows at the Greyhound which were always heaps of fun. My last gig there was with Kathematics in 2008. It was in the front bar and was packed. Everyone was dancing. Such a great memory of a wonderful venue."
